Cabbage and Jalapeño Turkey Tacos



Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cabbage (shredded)

  • 1 jalapeño (sliced thinly)

  • 1 lb ground turkey

  • 1 tsp chili powder

  • 1/2 tsp cumin

  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 6 small tortillas

  • Optional, 1 lime, cut into wedges, fresh cilantro, chopped

Instructions:

  1. Cook turkey: 

    • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. 

    • Add ground turkey and season with chili powder, cumin, and garlic powder. 

    • Cook for 8-10 minutes, breaking up the meat until browned and cooked through.

  2. Prepare toppings: 

    • Mix shredded cabbage and jalapeño slices in a bowl. 

    • Optionally, add a squeeze of lime juice for extra flavor.

  3. Assemble tacos: 

    • Fill each tortilla with the cooked turkey, top with the cabbage-jalapeño mix and sprinkle with cilantro.
