Grilled Red Romaine Lettuce with Thyme-Mint Vinaigrette

Ingredients:


- 2 heads Red Romaine Lettuce, halved lengthwise

- 2 tablespoons Olive oil

- 1 teaspoon Fresh Thyme, chopped

- 1 tablespoon Fresh Mint, chopped

- 2 tablespoons Balsamic vinegar

- 1 teaspoon Honey

- Salt and pepper to taste


What you’ll need:


- cutting board

- Chef’s knife

- grill or grill pan

- heat-safe tongs

- small bowl

- whisk 


Method:


  1. Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
  2. Brush the halved Romaine Lettuce with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Grill for about 1-2 minutes per side until slightly charred but still crisp.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar, chopped thyme, mint, honey, salt, and pepper.
  5. Drizzle the vinaigrette over the grilled lettuce and serve warm as a unique side dish.
