Ingredients:
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 3-4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 pinch red pepper flake (optional)
- 10 ounces greens (e.g., kale, collard greens, chard, etc.), stemmed and chopped
- Sea salt and black pepper, to taste
- 2-3 Tbsp vegetable broth or water
- Heat Oil and Sauté Garlic: Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add olive oil, garlic, and red pepper flake (if using). Sauté for 1-2 minutes, stirring frequently, until garlic is fragrant but not browned.
- Add Greens: Add the chopped greens and toss to coat with the garlic and oil. Sauté for 4-5 minutes, stirring frequently, until wilted and slightly tender.
- Add Broth and Season: Add a bit of vegetable broth or water to steam the greens slightly. Cover and cook for another 1-2 minutes until tender to your liking.
Season and Serve: Season with sea salt and black pepper, and serve immediately.
