Debra’s Bloom Ranch Peach Cake

There’s nothing quite like a slice of homemade comfort — especially when it’s made with Bloom Ranch’s own peaches. Miss Deb’s Peach Cake is a community favorite that fills your kitchen with warmth and nostalgia.

Ingredients:

  • Bloom Ranch Frozen Peaches (3 lb bag)

  • 1½ cups Sugar (optional – can be left out if desired)

  • 2 teaspoons Nutmeg

  • 1 tablespoon Vanilla Flavoring

  • ¼ cup Butter, melted

  • 2½ sticks Butter, melted (for topping)

  • 1 box Betty Crocker Super Moist Yellow Cake Mix (any brand will do)

How To Prepare:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.

  2. In a large bowl, mix together:

    • 3 lbs Bloom Ranch peaches

    • 1½ cups sugar (optional)

    • 2 tsp nutmeg

    • 1 Tbsp vanilla flavoring

    • ¼ cup melted butter

  3. Blend ingredients well and pour mixture evenly into a baking pan.

  4. Pour the dry cake mix evenly over the peach mixture.

  5. Melt 2½ sticks of butter and pour evenly over the top.

  6. Bake for 40–45 minutes.

    • Check after 25 minutes to ensure it’s not browning too fast — if it is, adjust temperature if needed.

  7. Cake should be golden brown and the peach mixture should be bubbling through the topping.
  8. Cool slightly and serve warm
