Asian Mizuna and Basil Chicken Stir-Fry



Ingredients:

  • 2 cups Asian Mizuna greens, washed and chopped

  • 1 cup jumbo basil leaves, washed

  • 1 lb chicken breast, thinly sliced

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp sesame seeds

  • Serve with steamed brown rice or quinoa

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the chicken: 

    • Slice the chicken breast into thin strips. 

    • Marinate with soy sauce and minced garlic in a bowl for 15 minutes.

  2. Heat the pan: 

    • Heat olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

  3. Cook the chicken: 

    • Add the marinated chicken to the pan and stir-fry for 5-6 minutes until fully cooked and slightly browned.

  4. Add greens: 

    • Add mizuna greens and jumbo basil. 

    • Stir-fry for an additional 2 minutes until the greens are wilted.

  5. Garnish: 

    • Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve immediately over steamed brown rice or quinoa.
