An Evening at Bloom Ranch

One evening. One community. One million reasons to invest in our own.

Join the Florida A&M University (FAMU) National Alumni Association Southern California Chapter under open skies for an unforgettable evening at Bloom Ranch — where great food, meaningful conversation, and the beauty of the land set the stage for something even greater: investing in the next generation of Rattlers.

Enjoy a curated ranch experience featuring a guided tour, a warm shared farm-to-table meal, and sounds by FAMU's own DJ R-Tistic, as we celebrate the out-of-state scholars who traveled far to carry the FAMU legacy forward.

Every ticket purchased. Every table filled. Every dollar raised this evening goes directly toward the Road to a Million Campaign — our chapter's endowment dedicated to funding Southern California students on their journey to FAMU.

Investing in Our Own

From Southern California to Tallahassee and Beyond

We know what FAMU gave us. The mentors who stayed late. The community that saw us. The HBCU experience that shaped not just our careers but our character. Now it is our turn to make that same experience possible for the young people growing up in our own backyard.

The Road to a Million is not an abstract goal. It is a SoCal student receiving the call that the local alumni chapter is awarding them a scholarship. It is a family exhaling. It is a Rattler beginning.

An endowment doesn't give once and disappear. It plants itself and grows — generating scholarship awards for local students year after year, permanently. By attending "Seeds of Excellence," you are directly contributing to this legacy, ensuring that no local student is turned away from FAMU for financial reasons alone.
